Approximate cooking time: 25 minutes
Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs flank or skirt steak
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 3 garlic cloves, minced or pressed
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
Directions:
- Trim fat from steak. Rub meat all over with pepper, garlic and salt.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add steak; cook 6 minutes on each side or until steak is desired degree of doneness, basting with vinegar. Allow steak to rest 5 minutes prior to slicing. Cut steak across grain into thin slices. Drizzle lemon juice over steak and serve.
