CHOCOLATE AVOCADO SMOOTHIE

Ingredients
  • ½ ripe avocado, flesh only
  • ½ banana (frozen for added creaminess, if desired)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 large, juicy, pitted dates or 1 tbsp honey or 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder or raw cacao powder
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 ice cubes
  • Water, to thin, as needed
Instructions
  1. Place everything in a Blendter and purée until completely smooth.
  2. If it’s too thick, thin with water, 1 tbsp at a time. If it’s too thin, add a couple of ice cubes. Serve.
Notes
Add a scoop of your favourite protein powder for an extra boost.
