Add all of the ingredients except the water to a blender. Process until the mixture is completely smooth. Use a little water to thin out the smoothie or to get it going in the blender if needed. Serve immediately.
Notes
I like the higher amount of ginger in my smoothie, but start with less and you can always add more.
I add the vanilla protein powder when I have this after a workout. This is completely optional and of course feel free to leave it out.
Depending on my mood and the type of milk I’m using, I’ll add the honey. Start with either no honey or the lower amount and adjust to your taste.
